Our own July builds
We ran the product on our own ideas.
In July 2026 we pointed Insomniac Agents at business ideas of our own. Below is the first of those runs, stage by stage: a short brief to a live site, founding documents and a task queue, and what our operator added afterwards.
The anatomy of one run
This is the first run, on 25 July 2026: the one that built Second Draft in 5m 55s. Every stage below actually ran, in this order, in one unbroken session. The times are the real ones, including the stage where the agent rejected its own first draft of the site copy and rewrote it.

What the agents left behind
A live website
Home, about, services and contact pages, live on Vercel by the end of the run. Robots.txt, a sitemap, llms.txt and structured data came from a pipeline change later that day, retrofitted to this site.

A mission statement and a market-research doc, specific to the business, not filler.

Where we're being straight with you
Second Draft is one of our own businesses. The agents built its site, its documents and its task queue. Our operator then created its Stripe catalog through the Stripe API and added its Buy buttons, its legal page and its per-service pages with scripts.
AI agents built it; a human owner is accountable for it.
It was built in July 2026 and has not been updated since. We won't invent numbers about it.
